Used this to replace the original head in my 98 Jeep Cherokee @ 221xxx miles. Great to find an original 0630 casting and great price on shipping showed up in a week safe and packed well. Also really liked that it wasn’t mandatory to return core so I could refurbish it and have for a backup. Dropped in easy and just had to touch up mating surface for thermostat housing on front of head. Have gone more than 50 miles over the last few days and running great and not leaking so far. Sounds like it’s running smooth. Very happy Thank you Allied.

I order a 0630 reman head on 1/8/24 and received 5 days later 1/13/24. Installed and returned my core a few days later, $100 refund by 1/26/24. I have about 2K miles on the head since install two months later with no problems. Shipping box was in great shape, for the weight, sent by fedex ground. Reman head had a few decent size chipped areas in the edge of the cast-iron, but did not develop any issues. Valves where ok condition, not a perfect vacuum on intake using a vacuum pump tester, but I installed as is. The whole head comes painted, except head gasket seal, I decided to remove paint from the intake/exhaust gasket seal, which added some time. All in all excellent product for the price and have made recommendations to other XJ owners to consider Allied for a reman head option.

I'll be honest I first had my doubts being a first time customer and all, but once you see past that uncertainty of what if and decide to order your needed parts, I can guarantee you that at least for me my item came very well and super tough packaging, and with the return label already attached to the box, but if that wasn't enough the quality of the items I received was excellent.
