The vortec heads were a direct fit that required no additional or abnormal work be done to install. The gasket sealing surfaces exceptionally flat, true , and very little pitting across the surfaces. I am very pleased with the products that were supplied to me, and the price was hands down the best, given the great quality of the parts.
